Yours are coming Marc probably arrive in a couple of days.
Nice new format. A small booklet with all the details. Most of the booklet is generic for an expedition cruise but very well done. There is information on the specific voyage as well. Including a great polar bear picture, that got my anticipation flowing!
The pins came with the wrong date (error on the part of the pin company we did not catch) so we are redoing them but they will make it in time.
I only have three days between returning from the Silver Discoverer (just Ken and I going to check out the new expedition ship) to leaving for the Northwest Passage. Closest connection between trips ever, might be "slightly rushed" in those three days.
Ready, Set, GO for this trip I cannot wait. A real adventure and looking forward to seeing everyone on this expedition.

Drats!!! There goes my collector's edition pin. This is like the post office finding an upside down flag on a sheet of stamps before they are released to the public. Can't wait for this adventure to begin!

Well I will give you both - I have 100 pins with the wrong date!
When you get the tickets the first page of pre-cruise information has some errors. They mixed up Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq in some areas.
Guess we have a bunch of little errors, get those out of the way for a PERFECT cruise with lots of polar bears and a Narwhal sighting.

Total of 18 people Marc, but many do not post on LCT but you know all but 4 or 6 of them. I never do share names of people booked (privacy laws) so you will be surprised on boarding.

FOR ALL THOSE ON THE NORTHWEST PASSAGE.
SILVERSEA IS OFFERING COMPLIMENTARY TRANSFERS TO ALL GUESTS FROM THE PIER TO THE NOME AIRPORT. SO THOSE WHO DID THEIR OWN AIR WILL NOT NEED TO USE TAXIS TO GET TO THE AIRPORT.

Ngaire, Ask if Silversea will also offer the transfers from Nome airport to the ship for the Russia segment.

They WILL pick up people on embarkation day and take them to the ship. Please call the office and give them your flight details and ask them to set up the transfer.

Conrad the expedition leader said it was looking good for the Northwest Passage. The one area they were worried about is now clear. He said a lot of changes in the last few days. So it sounds GREAT.
After today's visits to the Inuit villages I am very enthusiastic about what we will see on the Northwest Passage trip.
The plans for disembarking the Discoverer in Nome look well planned, A transfer to the airport, check in of the bags. A hospitality room in town where we can leave our carryons and walk around town. Then a transfer back to the airport. All complimentary. It will probably be exactly the same when we arrive in Nome.
