So many great names have come from the Australia and New Zealand cruises, so this was a tough one. Let's try this one:

Truth in advertising: Karen did find that it WOMBAT had been submitted previously with a much different phrase but did not win. I only had checked winning acroynms that ended up being used for cruises. I did notice that Kangaroo had also been submitted that year, but again a completely different phrase than the one used this year for Sydney-Beijing. I think we're running out of "down under" animals!

I hate to spoil the party but shouldn't the teapot have 'Vegemite' instead of 'Marmite' on it, or do Kiwi's use Marmite? I'm just jealous because I can't think of a name! Lee

Here is everything you never wanted to know about Marmite, lol. I have never had it, is it as unsavory as it sounds?
Marmite is the name given to two similar food spreads: the original British version, first produced in the United Kingdom and later South Africa, and a version produced in New Zealand. Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing.
The British version of the product is a sticky, dark brown paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty and savoury. This distinctive taste is reflected in the British company's marketing slogan: "Love it or hate it." Other similar products are the Australian Vegemite and the Swiss Cenovis.
The distinctive product was originally British, but a version with a different flavour has been manufactured in New Zealand since 1919, and this is the dominant version in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

To me it is absolutely TERRIBLE but amazingly popular with many New Zealanders. You will find it everywhere in New Zealand. Do not name the pin MARMITE that is for sure.

Thanks for the input! They tried Vegemite on some Japanese people and you should have seen their faces! It is something you definitely need to grow up with! I love that commercial but it surely must have been made before I was born! "Put it next to the salt" - it is salt! Isn't it amazing what we find to discuss on LCT? Lee
