A piece of good news.
When we get off of Rovos Rail we are going to go straight to a Federal Charter terminal rather than going to the Johannesburg airport. The Federal charter terminal is on the grounds of JNB international just a private terminal for charters. This is where our charter flight will leave from and they have a special secured room that will store all our luggage. I am not sure if there will be a charge but if there is it will not be any more than the luggage storage at JNB. Then we get back from Singita we debark at the Federal terminal, pick up our luggage and FEderal will take us and our luggage to the main JNB terminal. You may decide to take all your luggage to Livingstone with you but if you dont want to do that then you can still store it at JNB.
The best part of this plan is that we wont have to stop, unload all the luggage, line up to check it into the luggage storage, all load up in the van again and go to the Federal Terminal. It may save as much as an hour or two hours to do all that. Federal terminal is small it will really just be our group there. SO MUCH EASIER. This will mean we will get to Singita that much earlier and settle in before our evening game drive.
Not sure if I mentioned elsewhere but we now have 4 vans for 40 people for the tours in Cape Town so this will give us a little room in the vans.
Glad you all like the K&D bags!!!

Has anyone figured out how to attach wheels to the K&D duffles? I figure we can daisy chain all 35 of them together and hire a local to pull them from place to place. That way, no lifting! :D

Marc, I thought of you when I lifted that duffle "empty" Be careful...they look great but seem very heavy.

Sounds great - we will need to store at JNB after Singita as we can only take 22 lbs to Namibia.
