It's the 1 year countdown. We can't wait! It's getting close to decision time on making travel plans. We're probably going to try to snag a Frequent Flyer ticket via Europe.

Woohooo John...you are right!! 364 days to go!!
I don't think we'll have enough miles for FF tickets, so we'll be paying again. Just not sure if we want to go via LHR again or try something different.

I can't get reallly excited until we get back from PANDA. My daughter and son-in-law are there now and having the time of their lives. They are in Madikwe now in the honeymoon suite(thanks to Ngaire). Jessica was taking a shower yesterday watching 5 elephants taking their baths. They took pictures of a leopard dragging an impala into a tree to eat while at King's Camp. Hi Andrea-you look great!

Thanks Mitch  I'm sad I won't get to see you and Bert on PANDA, but at least by next September I'll be at my goal!!

Andrea - there are pretty good connections through either Zurich or Frankfurt.
Mitch - thanks for the update! We are glad to hear they are having a wonderful time. Leopard at King's Camp? Great! That's the one we missed on ROAR. At Chobe Chilwero in Botswana, there was an impala in a tree the leopard abandoned. At some level, you hope if an animal becomes dinner, at least the hunter will partake.
We will probably buy around the world tickets and stop off in Asia one way or the other. Cash flow challenge: pay off ICE and buy ROAR 2 air tickets in the same month.
Cheers, Anne
