I found them. They are great, and I love the captions.

Great pics! Isn't Portofino a stitch!? Vincenzo was awesome. We ducked out of using those tambourines, though! We are definitely more observers than participators!

Kristen, We really enjoyed Portofino's. Vincenzo really put on a great show with Roberto and the others. Our tambouriner, Adrien wanted to participate, so we sat her right up front. She really got into it.

I was amazed that he sounded more Frank Sinatra than Sinatra. I could not get over how wonderful he was. Also, those gents were truly having a wonderful time, I could tell. What a joy to see people enjoy themselves so much.

Hey Deb we were too...I thought the guy was just mouthing the words at first and it was a Sinatra tape playing!!!
The table right behind Ida with the two ladies and one man; they were really getting in to his singing like he WAS the real Sinatra. So much fun to see people enjoying themselves! :app:

Sue, when we first saw Vincenzo, we thought he was singing to a tape, too. I now call Vincenzo, "the Navigator's own Chairman of the Board." He is fabulous. I told him he needed to get a CD out. This past summer, we ate with Cruise Director Sam Perry. He was going to try to see what he could do to help Vincenzo's singing career.

Great photos! I wasn't imagining it--we did have a good time. And, yes, some people did fall down while dancing in the Stars Lounge. ;) And were nowhere near as graceful as the professional dancer when it happened!

I gave up the debate and booked Voyager for the December 18 Christmas cruise next year (and pushed SS Shadow off to Christmas/NY for 2009/2010. Regent is supposed to be giving me the onboard savings, though it was an almost guarantee, so I will see later in the day. Either way, I took a G to avoid a GTY in the back. I'm in 651.
You all seem to have this time of year booked with family, but I'dlove to see any and all of you onboard.
The Regent rep said they are getting tons of requests for these short cruises like no-name.

It does go to a different mix than the typical. Places like Bonaire and St. Kitts that we haven't been to have short times in port. I imagine it will be great, though. Maybe we can try snorkeling in Bonaire.

In 09, I'm doing those 2 long SS cruises, but if Regent will give us the 3 or 4 nighter, I am in. I wish I could get on one of your voyages next fall. Those look great. It would have to be last minute.

I probably could do a 3 or 4 day cruise in 09, but not more than that. I agreed over Christmas to get a villa in Tuscany with the family in 2009, and after the DC in 2008, that'a about all the vacation I'll be able to do in 09. But, if there's a mini again, I'm in--would love to cruise with you all again.
Debbie, do try the snorkeling in Bonaire. Some friends who are veteran divers vacationed there this fall, and said it was the best diving they've ever done. And good diving usually means good snorkeling.

Great minds think alike. I was just studying the Bonaire snorkeling tours, along with Grand Turk. We went to Curacao for 5 nights a few years ago, but there were a couple of places we didn't see. We will probably tour there with a guide or one of the islandy things, but we have seen the aquarium and been almost all over the island. If we had another day, we would have gone to Klein Curacao or Bonaire. I have heard Bonaire is THE place to snorkel/dive.
The shortest luxury I have found so far were a couple of Cunard things from NY. Not sure about that, and I can't commit to anything right now.
A villa in Tuscany sounds wonderful.

With so many of us interested in a mini cruise for 09, we just have to get Regent to decide to put one together for us!!! :app:
