Pam, Welcome Home. Our condolences about losing your friend. I like how you lit the candle.
I am still dreaming about London after my trip in June! Thank you for sharing yours! Loved Harrods and the Casmere Shops right by there on Brompton. We stayed at the Sheraton and had no complaints. Great location. Your trip sounds wonderful!

Taking a break from unpacking...
Kathy, we will definitely stay at that same Sheraton, when we go back (which will hopefully be soon)! We just won't make the mistake of staying on a "butler floor"; I assumed it was like the Club floor but it wasn't. So, I foolishly WAY overpaid for a couple of little pieces of sticky cake every afternoon. And I'll ask if they have revamped the mattresses; if not, I'll ask for an eggcrate or something. The location was perfect.
And I want to go back to that particular cashmere shop! One wasn't as impressive, but the other one (farthest away from Harrods) I could do some serious damage to the budget in. And we were too busy exploring to even go in Harvey Nichols. Or any of the others, for that matter.

I got two wraps there - one cherry red and one in basic black - really nice sizes and you can double them as well. Wish I'd gotten two more in Purple and Fuschia. For the next trip!

I stuck with muted plaids. The one I bought on Skye is grays and some black, a little white; the one I bought on Brompton Road is in what I call "my Africa colors", corals, browns and some dusky blues. That way, I can use them with more clothes.
