Hi Isabella,
You're so right! That's why I was so thankful that Liz reposted her critique. I have not yet cruised Oceania but I'm seriously considering it for the near future so I'm monitoring very carefully the comments from their past passengers. Good luck with your cruise, it looks like a great itinerary!

Hi Isabella,
I'm in total agreement with your post.
It's always greatly appreciated when people voice their experiences, whether it be positive (hopefully) or negative. An open forum provides us with information to make educated decisions pertaining to our own travel plans.
In a situation such as Liz's, I do hope that her horrendous experiences were addressed to resolve her issues to her complete satisfaction. Anything less than a favorable experience is not acceptable.
I see this is your 2nd post on LCT. Welcome! I hope you'll be a regular on the boards!
Denise

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, Denise & Maria! I am very positive about our upcoming Oceania cruise being great - hopefully most of the "kinks" will be worked out by then! I can't imagine Watters & del Rio (being the cruise industry veterans that they are supposed to be) not learning from their mistakes or short-comings. Taking 7 people on a cruise like this is a huge monetary committment & I certainly expect AT LEAST as good as is promoted - and would hope for better! Oceania will have had experience in each of these ports by the time we get there, so everything should run fairly smoothly! If Frank doesn't disappoint me, I'll certainly be one of his best ambassadors! Our family trips are very precious to us. I'm also thinking of getting back into the travel biz. I used to do outside sales for a Carlson Wagonlit agency, as I enjoy putting small groups together, but the agency owner had values & practices I didn't agree with; so I quit. Pleasant, ethical people are a must for me. Life is just too short for any other nonsense - unless it's FUN nonsense! Thanks, again!

Liz, Thanks so much for reposting. I am sure all of your comments will be very helpful to all on this board.
We sailed on the Prinsendam last Christmas for 16 nts and just loved every minute of our cruise. I think you are in for a wonderful experience. Please be sure to come back and give us your thoughts.

Thank you wowzdow. I am looking forward to the Prinsendam cruise to the Amazon. I would like to give a report of how that ship is. It is the top of the HAL line, and probably truly a luxury. But it is not all inclusive, if that is what makes the difference about luxury. Thanks again. Liz
