Click on view, toolbars and be sure google is checked. This should bring it back

Thanks Robert, I got the google toolbar back but can't get rid of AIM toolbar even though it is unchecked for my toolbar choices. I have 2 toolbars right now and I just want one.

AIM is part of AOL (takes over your computer).
If you don't use AOL, go into your control panel, add remove programs, and remove AOL and AIM (Aol Instant Messenger). I don't know if that will work or not....it might.

Jack, thanks for the info on clearing the taskbar/startups. I wasn't sure how to do that. Now I can add one more to my bag of tricks!
