Gil - I hope yesterday went better and is the start of a new week! If not wanting to move makes me old then I'm ancient - but realistically I've had to realize that slow changes in our old neighborhood are going to force a move sometime in the next few years. It's sad to see a proud old neighborhood slide - but when the trend doesn't reverse itself you have to change with the times.

I AM NEVER MOVING AGAIN -
until the next time!

Yesterday was actually UNEVENTFUL! As a result of that, Carole & I decided to open (and finish) the bottle of champagne in our fridge. And we toasted to our upcoming Navigator cruise.

Gil - I'll drink to that! (off to search the refrigerator for something vaguely alcoholic)

Don't know how I missed this thread - not to laugh at bad situations..but it is hilarious.. still rolling on the floor over the passed out /drunk mover on front lawn..

I guess this is why I just sell houses

Gil,

Boy, what an Annus Horribilus...hang in there, things can only get better from now on!

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~

BONNIE -
DUH - Why hadn't I thought of that! The other night I was looking for a GLASS to drink the Grey Goose from. What a fool! A straw, yes!
Although Carole said something to me today about an IV - she's had people there all day today trying to get things right, or at least better. And 3 more arriving tomorrow.

We are getting there! This morning we sat on our terrace, drinking coffee, looking at the trees behind us and listening to the quiet. Not too different from one aspect of cruising.
