I want to add a couple of examples of outstanding service aboard Crystal. Incidents like this are probably why Crystal has a lot of loyal followers.
Our group (twelve of us) were very disappointed that we missed the opening ceremony of the Olympic games while on board. I discussed it witht the cruise director, Scott Peterson, and he said he would see what he could do. He got someone in Las Vegas to tape it for him and fed ex it to Alaska. He then set it up on a large T.V in a small lounge for us.
Our group asked if we could have a full Indian dinner in the dining room one night. The maitre'd said no problem. One of the Indian chefs made delicious hand made Samosas, mulligatawny soup and three kinds of curries, for twelve!
