Borobudur is wonderful but an overnight stop is just not necessary. There is nothing there but the one gigantic temple with its myriad stupas. A short distance away is a restaurant where they provided entertainment with the lunch. It was so interesting to me that it was rediscovered by Raffles. A day trip is sufficient.
