I remember reading about people bringing floatation devices ( air mattresses, etc) on the Paul Gauguin, with many leaving the devices behind for crew and locals. Any preferred kind? Websites where they're available?
Also - any other little hints for a Gauguin trip - for instance: can it be done with just a carry-on? Any need to bring extension cords? Electricity on board 110? 220? both?
