On my very first cruise when I was a teenager my parents took me to Nassau. They had also given me a new camera to use. I saw a beautiful Bahamiam woman making a wicker basket and decided to take a picture of her. I got the scare of my life when she started yelling at me. I have never forgotten my lesson to never take anyone's picture or even of their belongings without first asking for their permission.
