On CruiseCritic.com, Wendy the Wanderer posted (in part) as follows:
I wonder if he means 'Count Florida'? He means that this person apparently was collecting tokens.
Not knowing exactly what she was talking about, but getting the drift, I replied:
Florida Orange NOT count Florida

I don't think the posting was for me; we don't have many tokens, maybe 1 or at most 2.
BUT, many people DO, and enjoy competing for them. What are the people running Regent thinking? Do they really want to antagonize their best repeat customers, or what? These sneaky rule and policy changes, like the one that no longer allows you to use the AMEX on-board credit to be applied to a future cruise on-board booking. Dinner menu choices in Compass Rose have been reduced, we don't think the food is as good as it was, and all these seemingly minor annoyances. Even with the 2-for-1 fares and free air, it still costs over $750. a day per person to cruise with Regent on any of the popular itineraries in Europe this year. And then they pull these nickel and dime tricks.
I just don't get it!
I should be more diligent in reading both I guess, but there is only so much time, even in retirement.
Where did we get the time to do everything and still hold down full time jobs before we retired. We must have been really good and fantastically organized! EXCEPT, I know that was not a descriptor that fit me. I did have a secret weapon, though: Pat! Which probably explains it all.
