Cruisedreamer, for whatever reason, some of the hair dryer's are better than others. I need one that is really hot. If the hair dryer in our cabin doesn't seem hot enough, I ask the stewardess to exchange for another one. So far, it has worked for me but then I don't know your issue with the dryer, perhaps not the kind you like.
