State of Hawaii has developed relationships with CVS and Kaiser Health and will accept test results from either. Must be a PCR test. Antigen not acceptable. Current issue which we think will be changed but do not know how at this point is that you must sigh up for the test and get an appointment. To sign up you need to say you have symptoms. June and I do not. So CVS needs to fix this. The test needs to come back with in 72 hours from the time of the test to the time you get on the airplane to Hawaii. Means CVS needs to process the test in a very timely manner. Also currently they are not doing tests for children. My grandkids are all under 10 years. That will need to change also. We have a CVS we go by almost everyday to the grocery store that is collecting the samples for testing. Where test is actually done do not know. When June and I were test a month or so ago in the desert we know that Eisenhower Medical sent the tests to a lab that was a two hour drive away. The lab is near us in south Orange co. One of the major testing facilities.
This entire process will be interesting.
