Where to start. Fantastic afternoon.
Started with a huge herd of elephants at the river. Lots of babies one just a few weeks old. Hard to get a picture of the small baby as females surround the baby and the baby is between their legs. Seems like they would step on the baby. The elephants were playing, blowing water and sand around. Great sighting.
Then onto the lions. They were 10 sleeping lions but would wake up, look at us and change position. Females and about 9 month old cubs. No males in sight. They have three male lions on the property the Gowie coalition but no sign of them yet.
Then next stop cheetah. One male and one female, also sleeping. But the male was nervous about the cars so he moved around so we had a good sighting of him. The female was totally relaxed and would raise her head from time to time.
Sundowner drinks with one other of our vehicles and on the way home we saw Hyena.
Ken took the pictures so I have to wait for him to get those to me to post.
Good at Mala Mala is so good. A buffet of nice plain yummy food, not all the fancy dishes. Everyone is happy and we finish dinner in just over an hour. Perfect as we are all pooped at the end of the day.
