Susan has been with us for SO LONG it is hard to imagine our office without her. When I hired her about 18 years ago she was "over qualified" for the job. But she insisted that she wanted to work with us and she promised she would not leave until she retired. She kept that promise! Of course we are happy for Susan she is going to be looking after her grandson who she adores but she will be missed by us all. Denise joined us about 3 months ago when Susan told us of her retirement plans. Susan gave us a lot of notice so we could get Denise trained and she will be taking on most of Susan's work. Some duties have also been given to others, Jennifer will now be handling all the final payments.

Penny put together a beautiful party for her yesterday. Made us think we should open another business, party planning by KLT. For those at rodeo she made all the table and tent decorations.

Of course we are happy for Susan she is going to be looking after her grandson who she adores. Susan gave us 3 months notice so we had time to hire our new staff member, Denise and train her to do the majority of Susan's work.

Things change and we have to adapt! But there will be tears in the office on Friday for sure.
