Linda and I were in a standard veranda cabin. It was fine but we did notice the difference in space and particularly missed the walk in closet. I don't know why since I went carry on, but still these are touches you might miss. However, we did have the mini-fridge, sufficient desk space, and a laptop to use during the cruise. The space is too small to accommodate a full size sofa and instead had a loveseat. We did enjoy the variety of restaurants.
