I wouldn't count on the C$ going down too far anytime soon, guys. I'd plan my shopping accordingly. As long as oil keeps going up, this will be the case, unless our politicians screw something up badly. Great for Canadian travellers like us (especially since we're now officially snowbirds), but not great for the tourist industry and our export balance. But, for now, it's the new normal I think.
Is anybody coming in early to spend time in Montreal or environs?
