not sure if any of you have been there but for Johannesberg LUX ..LUX fabulux hotel..there is no better choice than The Michaelangelo. Talk about knock your socks off magnificent..we were never expecting it.
It is in Mandela square..absolutely gorgeous with a direct access to best shopping in the world ( very similiar to Rodeo drive or Bahnhoffstrasse ( Zurich) as examples of the types of stores..and then outside in the square a fabulous dining experience with so many fresh fish restaurants..and of course you know the prices there are so dirt cheap it is insane.
Lobster, scampi platters for about $16 for 2
crzy and delicious.
also stayed a few nights at great place after Lions sands and Singita called jackleberry..was not as expensive as the others and very , very SWEET!
