Hi guys….
Not too much to report as yesterday and today are sea days as well be arriving in Thailand tomorrow morning. We’re currently in the Thailand Bay not far from the coast of Cambodia. Early tomorrow we’ll be leaving the ship for the night and driving into Bangkok about 1 ½ hours away .We’ll spend the night at the Four Seasons Hotel. Tomorrow afternoon Tom and I are going on a Royal barge ride through the canals. There were quite a few options RSSC is offering but this sounded fun. We had such a good time with Joanna & Tony 2 years ago when we did the “Floating Market” It’s hard to believe that this will be my 5th time to Bangkok (3 of those were when Tom worked here for 6 months in the mid 90’s) Tomorrow night quite a few of us want to go to Pat Pong (night market). I’m sure we’ll find time to fit in a Thai massage as well. Regent really does an outstanding job on these overnight excursions so I’m sure tomorrows will not be an exception. All but 40 people will be leaving the ship for the night. I’m guessing the 40 staying onboard are elderly and more immobilized. Quite a few are leaving Bangkok to go to Angkor Wat in Cambodia for 3 nights and will rejoin the Voyager in Kuala Lumpur.
