Oh, I did think opals, but they were mostly out of my price range. I picked up one boulder opal in Sydney and I've just purchased a quite pretty pair of earrings and a necklace from the New Zealand designer. I went to the cooking demonstration but it was less than exciting so now I'm off to call home and see what other interesting lectures I can find.
