Indio is approximately 20 miles from Palm Springs, approximately 9 miles from Palm Desert, approximately 5 miles from Indian Wells and approximately 23 miles from Desert Hot Springs. The entire area is growing like mad. If you are planning on renting a car during your stay, easy drives from Indio to any of these areas, Jim. We have a good friend who lives in Palm Desert and loves it. Every time we visit, it seems PD just gets better and better.
