Hi Everyone!
Thanks for inviting me to the party!! I haven't posted much at CC and the climate there lately had me wondering if I ever would again. I have read about all your adventures and am hopeful that someday I will get to cruise with all of you. Since I feel like I know so much about all of you I feel like I should tell you a little about myself. (It feels "safe" here! LOL)
After 6 cruises with HAL and a few others with various other mass market lines, my husband and I had our first experience with RSSC last February when we were on the Paul Gauguin. Well, we are hooked and our next cruise is coming up quickly--March 20/Navigator. All of our cruises previous to the PG were either Caribbean, Mexican Riviera or Panama Canal. So there really is no comparing the Tahiti experience to our experiences with HAL. I'm really looking forward to the Navigator/Caribbean itinerary and making the comparison to our previous cruises.
We typically cruise once a year, in the winter (usually February to March time frame). So far that is our only option as my husband's job pretty much keeps us close to home the rest of the year. I will be watching the "group" cruises closely to see if we are lucky enough to join one. Not to wish my life away, but I look forward to a time when he is (semi) retired and options for cruising the Mediterranean and other wonderful destinations are possible. Thank you all for sharing your descriptions of your cruises to destinations that are on my wish list.
