I don't think that I have ever seen so few specials. Is Radisson not having to give additional discounts due to strong bookings? Are they just consolidating more cruises into fewer specials? Are they waiting until last minute before determining if they have to discount specific cruises (e.g., the 20% SSS discount on one cruise)?

Any ideas?

Greg and Jack, any gossip from the Mariner?

Marc, of course there are more specials listed elsewhere, like the "Spotlight Cruises", but you are right. Trying to figure out whether RSSC and SS are coming together in pricing.

Olivia is right, MUSH isn't listed and it's still 30% off and free air.

Tom and I are trying to figure out what to book onboard...any good suggestions? I'm not sure I can talk him into MUSH...too short, not enough sea days.

Here's a suggestion. Don't know if it has free air yet or not. We especially liked the 12-day feature.

Cheers! Ray

Or WAVE, http://www.rssc.com/voyage/details.jsp?code=VOY060609

It's still 40% off with free air, 10 nights. You could make it a back to back with 060619!

Free air or $1000 has been taken away on June 19th it is pretty sold out. I think I have about 90 passengers on that one myself. They took the free air or $1000 off on a lot of cruises, some had the percentage discount increase so the bottom line cost was not that different.

Others such as June 19th left the percentage discount the same and just lost the free air and $1000.00. There were about 100 changes to the RSSC web in one way or another last weekend. Took us two days to get things caught up.

I wonder why they aren't listing the percent off specials in the specials area. That makes it harder for people who aren't familar with the Radisson website to find the deals.

Ray -
That itinerary you posted is the itinerary I've wanted Radisson to do - but I wish they'd do it a different time. I've been to each of those places a couple of times, but would go back in an instant.

Too bad it is A) During graduation, and B) Practically sold out.

Think I'll go search for Fall.

Margo; You might want to look at the first leg of the 2007 WC. Lots of sea days there. That's why Lynn and I booked it. We also want to spend a few days with our friends in Cape Town.

Ray, Tom and I were signed up for the June 19th cruise (with Ngaire and Ken) until we found out we're going to become first time Grandparents just before then so we cancelled. Great itinerary!

Marcie:

Holy smokes Marcie, it would have been nice to see you and Tom again; however, the joy of a new grandchild transends any cruise.

Drop me an email. Something is wrong with the one I have for you...says it's not valid...

Cheers! Ray

Margo, if ya'll want to go back to the Carribbean, look at the Navigator 23 Mar sailing (8 nite), it is 2:1 and 20% SSS discount...we would have booked, but Ida does not have enough vacation days..so we booked SS departing 13 April for 7 day or try the 11 night Navigator Carribbean sailing 20 Nov 06, 2:1 and spotlight on food and wine (has two sea days too)...good luck...r/wes

I'll tell ya, I sure won't make the same mistake I made on my Med cruise, and forget to book something while onboard! With numbers this high, that onboard booking credit really makes a difference.

Live and learn LeeAnne! We are in the habit of always booking at least one (on 007 we booked two) future cruises to have the onboard booking in place. Ngaire writes me a letter that I just hand to the cruise consultant and it's done. EZ EZ EZ! This way we're always prepared should an upcoming cruise catch our fancy.
