Thats true.... Nothing like a bucket of wine and some dance moves to warm things UP!!!!!

That was such a neat trip. I have pixs of Tony and Carla dancing it is a wonder he did not suffer from cardiac arrest!!

Tim and Penny are GREAT people that we really enjoyed meeting and spending time with on SPLASH. I cannot wait for them to meet many of you and for you to meet them.

Such a great group. I'd love to give AMA another chance.

Just did some updates on the roll call.

Our cabin number is 310 and my Mom is in 311. Haven't thought about flights yet......guess I should???

I see the canals are frozen in Amsterdam! :ohmy:
People are currently ice skating on them.
Also understand there is some ice on some of the rivers.
OH MY! I hope things melt before December! LOL :D

I remember the walk home after dinner with you and Jan back to our hotel and the temperature had dropped, I was freezing my but off. Then the next morning when we left it was lightly snowing out. The Frozen canals would be interesting to see..

Yes, Frank, it was sooo chilly but I have great memories of that trip - I would NOT want to spend more than 7 nights on a river cruise but we had neat group and lots of FUN!!!!! Paris pre was sweet -

Yea it was a little nippy going back to our hotels after dinner in Amsterdam post cruise. :eek:

Jan and I fly out 180 days from today so thought I would see if we have had any changes and additions to our group.

Sherry, Bud, Carol, Bing, Jan, and I will all arrive in Amsterdam on the same flight.
I have been checking into shuttle arrangements from the airport to the cruise port.
So far the best price I found is 70 euros for all 6 of us!
In case anyone else is interested go to www.airportstaxitransfers.com
Thinking if we plan on something around 15 euros per person we should be able
to also cover the tip.

Followup:
I went ahead and booked the 6 of us shuttle service from the Amsterdam airport to the cruise ship port. Since there is a 4 euro processing fee our total was 74 euros. Don't want to mess around with the euro to US dollar so went ahead and booked it.

59 days until our cruise!!

Did not understand until Lisa McNamara sent an email that
we need to do our own return transportation as well.
Sherry, Bud, Carol, Bing, Jan, and I so happen to be on the same
flight out of Zurich. (to Atlanta)
Also so happens that the shuttle service we are using in Amsterdam is also located in Zurich and I have contacted them about a price.
If anyone is on the following return flight and would like to go with us please let me know right away. Think we can save a lot of euros!!!

We probably should have been on that flight as well since we live outside of ATL but we are flying on UA from ZRH-FRA-ATL and depart at 08:00am on 12/17.

They arrived at 12:58 pm today by UPS.

Hey, kids! The countdown is now only 9 days! The weather forecast is COLD (next Thursday 41H, 32L), with the possibility of rain..so pack accordingly!

In the airport in San Paulo waiting to fly home from the Mariner flight leaves at the wonderful time of 1.00 am.

It may be cold in Europe BUT the spiced wine tastes better in the cold and the COMPANY will be warm - looking forward to it.
