This is still on the website (double posted) under "onboard activities":

SEVEN SEAS NAVIGATOR ENRICHMENT

Spotlight is on Food, Wine and Music
Usher in Spring in style with exceptional food, wine and music.

What better time to explore food, wine and music than the moment Spring comes to North America? As Seven Seas Navigator plots a course to explore the Caribbean in depth including the distant islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, we have the perfect opportunity to feature some of our favorite wine experts and musicians. The chef will also lead a culinary demonstration for food lovers. If you love food, wine and music, as well as sailing in luxury, this is the trip that will usher in Spring in style.

Karen,
Looks like you are going to go through the weekend thinking about your camping skills. Still no cabin assignment.

Too bad we aren't on the Mariner or Voyager, I could just camp out on the new outdoor couches! I think someone even said they have drapery partitions!

Karen,
Yes they are nice stuffed cushions and would work in a pinch. Obviously you will have a stateroom assignment but it is kind of FUN imagining the possibilities. I will keep checking. Just keep the marker ready to mark your luggage tags.

We are in the midst of yet another snow storm. Expecting a foot or more. :(

We seem to be in a weekly storm schedule.

Last weeks storm left us without power for three days.

Fun can't come soon enough for us. :3smile:

Accuweather is still calling for plain old partly sunny on the 11th, I think it's still too far out to predict!

I made a FUN weather folder on my lap top with links to the forecasts and radar for each island so we can know the day before what the next day will bring.

If anyone wants a copy of the list, let me know and I can email it to you.

I have a cabin assignment also, suite 600. I am bringing my two youngest sons as their high school graduation present. I got them certified to dive so we are diving in several of the ports.

Betty,
Looking forward to meeting you. It will be FUN to be neighbors.

Joanna,
Yes Karen is incredible. I am excited about the trip and meeting so many wonderful people that I have communicated with either via email or phone but now have a chance to meet face to face. Of the 30 guests onboard I have only met 3 couples prior.

:app: :app: This is shaping up so nicely, I love it! Karen doesn't have to pitch a tent!!! ;) And Susan, it looks like suite 600 has extra room which will be great to accommodate the four of you and your diving gear! Navigator has a special place in our hearts, as we first dicovered the Med sailing her. Can't wait for your Seamail, FUNsters.

Kristin,
Yes it is nice to have a big extra room although without the balcony it makes drying the scuba gear a challenge. We just feel fortunate to be able to be together with such a good group. I agree with you; I really like the Navigator.

I removed a post tonight that was copied from a post on CC. Ngaire felt that it was a biased post from a disgruntled ex employee.

I also removed the posts referring to it as they didn't make sense anymore.

As an added treat, as we sail from the Florida coast Wednesday evening, we'll be heading into a full moon rising at 8:17 PM off the port bow. Carl

Did you know that the days are getting 1 minute 32 seconds longer per day in Fort Lauderdale and here in Montana it is getting 3 minutes 17 seconds longer per day?
Just had to write something and saw this. :D

I am busy precruising! Taking things to the drycleaners, last minute shopping, etc. I also have to throw Ellie in the bathtub so she is pretty for her stay at Aunt Betty's house but I dread doing that! I end up wet from head to toe.

I think I might switch to the Hyatt Pier 66 as I will miss not having a balcony at the other hotel.

they went into the shower with me!
Never had a problem with water all over the place.

Karen:
You could move over to Embassy Suites with us.
they have French balconies! :D

I have 5:31 pm EST which means this time next week we SHOULD be pulling away from the dock. :bv:

Okay now. Judy's been the voice of Maineac for the last, oh 9 months or so, but I just finished off my last week before vacation a couple of hours ago and I'm ready to have some FUN.
This is her DH Steve, and I'm catching up on pretty long stretch of posts. I rarely allow myself to get too cranked up about vacations until I'm within spitting distance. I just got into range. Watch out for your dress footware.
Question: Where did "Pooch" come from? Wikipedia never heard of it which means it doesn't exist. So there. I grew up with a family card game called "scat", but I'd prefer not to have to explain, particularly living in the Maine outback.

Our flight's been pushed back by Delta since we booked it eons ago, so we don't get into FLL until well after dark on Tuesday or we'd join you for dinner. I would hope that y'all would have a moment of silence for us that we will indeed make it (pardon the y'all but we lived in Atlanta for 12 years before migrating back North). Weather looks good at the moment but it's like, the Weather.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. My wife's generally the public face of the twosome but as I said, we're in range. The cage door is open and I'm making a break for it.
