Regent is now keeping the pool grill open until 9 PM. There is an evening menu. (See: Pool Grill Menu) The pool bar will remain open until 10 PM. The dress code is casual on the pool deck but the regular dress code applies elsewhere in public areas on the ship such as lounges.

I was happy to read about this in the Seven Seas Newsletter. This is a great new option for folks. We really enjoy going to the dining room in the evening, so I am not sure how often we will take advantage of this venue (perhaps if we get back very late from an excursion and just want to grab a bite and go to the room and crash, or perhaps if the weather is particularly nice out one evening). But I know a lot of folks will like this - especially those who don't want to have to put on slacks instead of their shorts to go to dinner. Keeping the bar open later is also good - the poor bartenders could never get people to leave when it closed at 6:00, and folks would complain about having to leave.

I think this is great news. Sometimes we would have taken advantage of this in the past for all the same reasons you said.

Azamara has been doing this for a few years and it's a great alternative when you just want a light meal without all the noise & crowds.

George doesn't particularly like eating outside, but I can see us doing this after a long day. Great option.
