If you are lucky enough to be cruising during the month, please list your cruise dates and ports. Maybe we will even be able to stalk you along your journey!

Interesting, Colonel! I would love to hear about this trip as it is similar to Celtic which we are on next year! ----------------- Helen

Hi Helen,
Please call me Wes.
Yes our Dublin to London Tower is very similar to the later half of Celtic. Our voyage is 14 days vs 12 days and includes the port of Douglas, Isle of Man and Fair Isle, Scotland---our port stop just prior to London is Dover vs Ramsgate.
Very Good longtime Silvesea cruise friends (Dr. Dieter and Debbie) are doing b2b2b (Lisbon to London Tower Bridge, London Tower Bridge to Dublin, Dublin to London Tower Bridge) and talked us into their last segment. We look very forward to visiting the Scottish Highlands on, what SS says is, "one the great railway journeys of the World." Also, Dieter plans to introduce me to the different Malt Whiskeys he enjoys on this voyage.
Will be posting on board Cloud Expedition reports on both Facebook (your welcome to read) and on the Silversea Cruise critic board.
And your Azamara Indian Ocean adventure looks wonderful, esp. three days in Myanmar. We also covet visiting Myanmar but Regent and Silversea voyages include many of the ports we have been to before. We are considering doing a Scenic Myanmar river cruise in 2019 or 2020.

I highly recommend a 7 day Myanmar river cruise. I haven't been everywhere but this was the most fascinating place I have ever seen. Yes Beth, you need to go!

Two boats that are considered the top of the line on a Myanmar cruise are the Sanctuary Ananda and The Strand. We sailed on the Sanctuary Ananda and inspected the Strand. Both good without sailing on the Strand I cannot put one over the other. The food on the Ananda was excellent. Service was good, cabins were fine. There are other cruise lines on the river as well. Probably a little less expensive. I was just looking for the "Regent" of Myanmar.

Suzanne - It has been way too long - 2006 with Ngaire's Mush Alaska Cruise on the Radisson Mariner. We missed the post cruise Denali National Park trip because the ship broke down on the way to Seward.

Aha! That's the one! Yikes, 12 years?
Yep, I remember the breakdown. You missed out on your post-cruise due to the fact we all "got" a bonus night onboard with one hour of open bar before dinner the final night to help compensate. HA!
