I am looking for feedback on these two shore excursions in Ketchikan - the Crab Feast at the George Inlet Lodge versus the Seafeast at Silverking Lodge. I know some did the one of them during MOOSE. Any recommendations on which one might be better?

In my opinion the CRAB FEST is superior and i have done both in the last few years. I will do that every trip I am on. That said they are both good.
The crab is fantastic, as much as you can eat, and the staff are a hoot. It is a lot of fun we loved it. The Seafest has more variety of seafood and they just throw it on the table and you all dig in. I love ALL seafood but still liked the Crab fest better.
Others may have a different opinion.

Thanks Ngaire. That's what someone else had told me as well. They said the Seafest was really not "all you can eat" - just one pot per table!
We do love crab, so I think we'll go for the Crab Feast! Sounds like fun!

Good decision I wish I was going back with you. Tip, they have a contest for the height of the shells from the crab. Highest pile wines. You do NOT want to win and when you go you will see why. But people put glasses together and pile the shells on that and one guy (in our group) put the chair on the table and they measure from the table top. It truly is not only yummy but great fun. We also saw eagles and a bear from the boat ride on the way to pull up crab pots.

I actually had the same question for Our Oceania Cruise next year, so good to know. Oceania and regent use the same excursions in Alaska.
