We are going in Feb for a quick getaway and to see the HArry Potter play which runs for 2 consecutive nights so looking for someplace close to the West End theaters. We have stayed at the Savoy, Waldorf Hilton and Marriott Grosvenor Sq. the Savoy was my fave but it is pretty pricy during my dates. Thinking either ME by Melia or One Aldwych. Anyone stayed at either or have any other suggestions?

Helen - You might have a look at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Hampshire, which is on Leicester Square, just a few minutes walk from the Palace Theatre, where the Harry Potter show is taking place. I've stayed there several times on business and love the West End location and the elegant historic ambience of the hotel.

Helen,

I would love to hear your review of the play on your return home. I bought a copy of the play book at Heathrow when I left London last month. Looking forward to reading it.

Beth I am so excited to see this show! I am a huge Potter fan! My husband is reading the book and says he is loving it and trying to make it last. I will be happy to let you know what I think of the show. Rumor is they are looking for a theater in NY to mount a Broadway run.
