Does anyone have a company that they like/trust for airport to hotel in Bangkok? We need to book someone. The hotel limo is 2.5x the cost of every car service I have found. Taxis are much cheaper, but we'll be tired & want the peace of mind. Any recommendations?
Thanks, Doug

Doug, when we went to Bangkok for a week before our Voyager cruise back in2008(out of Singapore), we stayed at the Peninsula and I arranged their limo to pick us up at the airport...worth it as you said, it was a very long flight from Toronto to Bangkok...30 hours, door to door..so their limo was well worth an extra buck or two. Hope you have a few days there, fascinating country and the tailors are great. Pat

After considerable research, we've booked with Oriental Escape. We are using them for all our transfers (airport to hotel and hotel to port) and a couple of day tours. You can check their Web site: orientalescape.com. I think that I first saw them discussed on Cruise Critic. I've had numerous e-mails with them in planning our itinerary.

Thanks, Eugene!
I'll contact them this week. It appears that all the services charge the same price, so a recommendation is vital. We don't need tours, but a few trips to and from the airports will be needed.

posted this on Cruise Critic last November for a pax also on your Voyage. We used orientalescape (pls see link below) to get us from the port (Laem Chabang) to the Grand Hyatt in Bangkok back in April 2010 for $70 (2150 baht) Very good experience in nice SUV (we had four large pieces of luggage) with these folks and we personally recommend them. Trip adviser recommendation at second link below. http://www.orientalescape.com/thaila...r/bangkok.htmlhttp://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic...n-Bangkok.html__________________ Colonelretwes@yahoo.com

We booked them a while back--looks like they'll be busy next week.
