Earlier this year Regent and Brown and Keene co –hosted a party at my house and it was a lot of fun and I only invited local clients. I got emails from people out of town saying next time let us come too.

I am considering doing this again co-hosted by Regent and Brown and Keene in the last quarter of 2009. This needs to be timed with the release of the Regent 2011 itineraries. Regent will have a special offer for any 2011 cruise for those people at the party. I have NO idea what that will be.

It is so hard to find a suitable date. Susan is doing Polar Bears October 28 - November 2, I have Dragon October 17 – November 1, we cannot do it around Thanksgiving and then we have Paris December 3 – 6, then Christmas, then I leave for Llama on January 22nd. By the time it hits January the weather can be worse as well.

So I am considering the date of Saturday November 14, 2009

This is only open to current Brown and Keene clients and primarily for LCT members that are Brown and Keene clients. There may be a few really good clients who SHOULD be LCT members I may invite. I can only have so many in my house so if there are too many that want to come I will have to limit the number of people. I will do this by considering how long people have been a Brown and Keene client and how many nights on Regent they have sailed. I hope no ones feelings get hurt here but obviously if this happens I will have to make some type of determination on the numbers. I doubt that will be an issue, however I just want to address that up front.

We can make a weekend of it of course and I can arrange rooms at a hotel close by and hopefully get you all a special rate, and some may want to use points for their accommodations. We can plan something on the Sunday for those that want to go home on Monday or those that come in early can plan something for the Friday night as well. There are options on what to do in the additional time that will be available over the weekend and you can all decide how you would like to spend that extra time.

I thought I should put this out there now so you can let me know if this is something you want to attend and then I can see if the numbers make this a viable option. I may have too few rather than too many! Also for those that want to use FF miles we need to make a decision sooner rather than later.

So again shoot me an email if you think this would work for you and you are interested in coming. Please feel free to post here but the emails make it much easier for me to keep track of things.

It would be nice to attend just to personally thank the Brown and Keene folks for their customer service and their part of some of the most memeorable experiences in my life. Unfortunately, travel from Bahrain makes this impossible.

There is enough interest so this is a definite date and plan. Saturday November 14th party at our house, this is official. Sometime during the weekend we can make a trek to the Brown and Keene offices too for those who would like to see "where it all happens".

As to the spare time on the weekend, options will be YOUR choices. You can discuss it here.

Honkey Tonk country and western dance hall Friday night?
Sunday Brunch at one of the fancy hotels?
Sunday Horse Races?
Dinners on Friday night in a private room, fancy or more moderate?
Break up into small groups and go where you will for dinner or lunches Friday night or Sunday?

Transportation will be a factor we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

I did the same thing Margo, but will wait to see what the next few days brings. The rates through her friends and family looked pretty good to me, but I wasn't sure about locations yet. I got a great deal on a flight too so I am almost all set.

Arlene may have gotten a good deal on a flight but she didn't mention the "fun" part...

....found out today that due to her type of visa and residence card, she may not be let back into Belgium after her trip. :ohmy:

You may all be stuck with her until I can get time to fly back to pick her up. :D
