Beginning this spring Delta will have non-stop daily flights to Heathrow leaving from ATL and JFK. Good news for those of us w/Delta Skymiles.

Are they going to switch completely to Heathrow, or keep some flights at Gatwick? We came back out of Gatwick last year on Continental, and while it was a zoo, it didn't seem to be the chaos that I have read Heathrow can be.

Pam, I don't remember the article mentioning a Gatwick exclusion only that Heathrow was closer to London and preferable.

Last I heard, they will keep Gatwick; I sure hope so. Gatwick is so much easier to navigate. Yes, it is a longer train ride into the City but doesn't have a lot of the congestion (and baggage) problems of Heathrow.
