If anyone out there is interested in joining a group for Africa prior to the proposed ROAR lll in 2011 - shoot me an email.

I escort smaller groups at times, plus I just put some groups together for people who come to me to do a group but may need one or two other couples to fill out the camps and then everyone gets a better price point. I can keep your name on a list and if anything comes up in 2009 or 2010 I can let you know.

I never advertise my Africa groups on my web or anywhere except LCT member Africa groups so no one would know this was available and I would not know of your interest.

I'm going to wait a while before I let Mark know about this. He would jump right on it, and we really need to get some stuff done before we go back.

Kidding..

2011 Pat, ROAR lll, much smaller - game parks only 8 days in the parks. People can add on time on the way down or home through Europe or whatever else they want. I know some want to go back to Birkenhead House and La Residence so that may be pre-game parks. That is the ticket!

I just changed my air (again have business award moved to coach for the return to go see something new - I never learn terrible waste of miles) to visit Seasons in Africa newest acquisition, Djuma Vuyatela. They are investing 45 million rand into refurbishing this camp up to Seasons in Africa standards. It is in Sabi Sands. This is the camp that is home to the wildearth webcam that has been posted on LCT. Not listed under the Seasons in Africa heading yet. Does not look so good on the web now but it will change dramtically once they finish.

So Leopard Hills and Djuma both with 8 rooms may be a nice combination and we always get good rates with Seasons in Africa combinations.

The order of expense of the four Seasons in Africa properties will be Leopard Hills, Djuma, Kings Camp, Madikwe Hills.

Time will tell, have to go see it first.

It's over 10 now. Darn, wish I was back in the Joburg market! Of course, then I'd be off to more safari's after shopping!

So can we pay for Roar iii now with the value of the dollar to the rand I think it's a good bet.

Actually I should mention we may have one room on LION in April 09. Not sure yet. Great time to pay for a safari right now. Group size is 12 people.

3 nights Birkenhead House, 2 nights V&A Cape Town (with Ngaire and Linda) then
3 nights Kings Camp 3 nights Leopard Hills (with Linda)

The Leopard Hills could extend out to five nights and you only pay for one of those extra nights (special program)

R63046 is the cost for a low priced room at Birkenhead House. Approximate price with the 10.0 exchange rate $6300.00 per person. It will be a little higher than that as you wont get a full 10 exchange and there may be fees on your credit card for foreign exchanges. But still a great value.

You can also just do the game parks if you prefer.

For some reason there are a lot of FF award tickets out right now also. Maybe downturn in the economy they are releasing more seats. Ken and I just got flights we have been waiting to get for a long time

Just shoot me or Linda an email if you are interested and we will give you more details.

Dont worry ROARERS you got an even better deal on pricing as it was based on old rates, and if this low rand rate for ROAR had been coupled with this new exchange rate - WOW!

Okay, the rand just hit 11.7! If the exchange rate gets any better, we're going to have to book another safari!
