Betty, I don't see you on the messenger, what is the email address did you use?
Also, if you want to change the way your name is displayed on the messenger after you have signed up, for example, I use 'iamtribble@hotmail.com" but I have "Karen" displayed as it's easier to tell who I am..
Start your MSN messenger, click on "tools" at the top of the messenger and choose "options" The first tab in options is "personal" click that and the first choice says "Type your name as you want others to see it"
This will change your long email address into a name for us to see :)

I changed mine to "Pam", I hope it is still reasonably easy to find me. If not, I'll go back to Pamlur because I think I'm the only one of them out there. I don't stay signed on to that though, because so far I just can't bring myself to like it. When the shower is over, I'll probably just get rid of it.
I gotta go to Sonja's now.

While trying to help Betty shorten her long screen name, we figured out that if you registered with an email that doesn't have @hotmail.com or @msn.com at the end, you won't be able to shorten your screen name until you do this. Don't worry if you don't want to go through the steps to shorten your screenname. We can still figure out who you are, for example, Margo shows up as itravelnow@aol.com but we can still figure out that that is Margo :)

Karen, thanks for addressing the security concerns. I didn't realize that Messenger was part of the security fix. Still should to set up the Virus part under tools and remind people not to download any files via messenger.

Claudia - glad you figured it out. The message board software edited my post and took out some of my formatting characters so that's the reason why it looked like the way that it did. To summarize, it's spleen93 hotmail.com with the @ inbetween. :)

People might be removing the "@" to discourage the spammers' bots.

Marsha, George, Masaki and I were testing out the webcam tonight. The picture is awesome, we all commented on that we can see the pores on Masaki's face and the picture steams without jerky movements :)
We have a few kinks to work out but this is going to be an absolute blast!!
