I know I read it somewhere, but unable to find it now.
Can someone give the contact(s)used to purchase flights with an upgrade. I think there is a person plus an airline link.
Thanks a lot,
Doris

Doris, in the past I've just called the airline where I have points and speak with whomever answers. I know with USAir, you cannot do award travel online when it is not a true RT, say if you are on a cruise starting one place, and returning from another.

Thanks Olivia.... Doesn't the name Gary sounds familiar???. And I know there is also an airline (not the regular commercial airline) that sells business tickets for a more reasonable fare. These is for some friends, that I'm trying to help out. They are going to Australia /New Zeland & they got a business class quote like for $15,000 p/p.

Yes Karen... but I do not know if they have enough frequent flyer miles.

Doris, here is Gary's website. I think someone else mentioned that another person is doing this service now, too.

Gary often says that flights to Australia are the very hardest to nab with award miles. This is one destination where those Regent paid upgrades are fantastic. On a land trip, can't do that. I have worked with Gary before, and he was great. Another one recommended here (by Peter) is pointsguy.com

I agree with Olivia. I've used Gary Leff and my experience with him was outstanding. May I also suggest you read his blog, View From The Wing. He always has wonderful information....and just recently he wrote an excellent summary "Where First Class Award Seats Are". Good luck, Doris.

Gary Leff was not available when we needed to book Nile 2 tickets so he referred us to request@pointspros.com. The guy's name is Ben Schlappig and he did a most excellent job for us.

Depends on which airline mileage program that you are trying to redeem from but

Ben Schlappig is probably the most versatile with the programs (he doesn't do Delta anymore however).

Gary Leff concentrates mostly on Star Alliance redemptions (United / Continental / US Airways).

Brian Kelly is probably best for Delta redemptions (he flies Delta personally).

Peter, I am sorry to hear that Ben is not handling Delta anymore as that is where the bulk of my miles are. What is contact info for Brian Kelly, please?

I'm sorry, but I think I posted a wrong link above, and mis-stated that Peter recommended it. Peter, I think I should have said pointspros.com?

Helen, Brian Kelly is at www.thepointsguy.com

Since you're an "existing client", you can try to contact Ben, perhaps he'll still work on your award.
